On Thursday April 15, 2021, the Honourable Pennelope Beckles, Minister of Housing and Urban Development and Permanent Secretary (Ag.) Ms. Claire Davidson-Williams visited the Trinidad and Tobago Housing Development Corporation (HDC) South Quay, Port of Spain Office to meet and greet the newly-appointed Managing Director of the HDC, Ms. Jayselle McFarlane.

Ms. McFarlane received her instrument of appointment by the Board of the Trinidad and Tobago Housing Development Corporation (HDC), on April 12, 2021.

During the visit, Minister Beckles, PS Davidson-Williams and Ms. McFarlane congratulated Ms. McFarlane on her appointment and gave their commitments to work together with her to advance the Ministry’s housing mandate.

McFarlane is a Chartered Accountant, the holder of a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is certified in project management. She is also a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). Ms. McFarlane has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services, construction, hospitality and manufacturing sectors. She served at various multinational companies and has provided national service as a member of the board of a number of state enterprises.
